The project successfully completed its life span with proper implementation of all scheduled activities. The project concentrated on the capacity building of the youth entrepreneurs. Plan International Bangladesh with the support of Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Advice and Helpcenter (B’Yeah) have been implementing “Youth Micro Enterprise Development (YMED)” project from May ‘14 with the aim to improve the economic and social well being of disadvantaged youth, with a strong focus on female youth. During the project perid YMED project achieved the following outputs: Provided Training on business plan development to targeted youth; and Developed business plan with the targeted youth.
As a result 20 youth owned enterprises developed for marginalized youth’s enhanced their economic wellbeing,100 individual young women/men employed in the youth-owned enterprises,600 family members of youth entrepreneurs and employees are economically benefited.
